BC Hydro – Site C Projects
Following years of subcontract work at Site C (2015 to 2018); Halfway River Frost LP
(“HRFL”) negotiated and obtained a Master Services Agreement with BC Hydro in 2018.
Frost Group operates as Prime for BC Hydro projects.
Scopes of Work included the following;
• Supply & Install Major Bridge Crossings
• Harvest, load and haul hundreds of hectares of merch timber
• Heli-log hundreds of hectares of merch and non-merch timber
• Strip and grub Right of Way corridor for road construction
• Maintain access for works with gravel hauling and grading
• Road Construction
• Strip, load, haul and place various aggregate materials and fill
Cache Creek Reservoir Drainage – Aug. 2018 – March 2019 $7.1 million
Halfway River Archeology Soil Removal – Jun. 2019 – Aug. 2020 $1.6 Million
Peace River Reservoir Clearing – Aug. 2019 – March 2020 $17.2 Million
Halfway River Drainage Clearing – Aug. 2020 – March 2021 $22 Million
Area 24 / Area E Clear Grub & Stockpile – Feb. 2022 – June 2022 $6.3 Million
Aggregate Clearing Howe Pit & P6 Access – Mar. 2022 – Current $21 Million
