Our Story
Frost Group began operations in 1989. Our head office is in Prince George, BC and we operate in central and northern British Columbia. We specialize in large earth-moving projects in both the civil construction and mining sectors. As well as forestry clearing operations. Whether it is new mine construction, pipeline development, Right of Way clearing, road building, bridge construction, and reclamation; Frost Group has the equipment personnel, and experience to take on any project. We understand the challenges of working in the north and at remote sites. It is what we do every day and have been doing successfully for the past 32 years.

the Frost Group because we want to protect our most important asset: our people. Frost Group has developed its internal safety program over the last 32 years with a key belief that all accidents and injuries are preventable.

Frost Group has been able to participate in our vast project portfolio because of our exemplary safety record. We are connected to multiple clients in ISNetworld and ComplyWorks and maintain positive ratings to be considered eligible as a Prime Contractor for major projects in both Construction and the Oil and Gas industries.
Frost Group continually exceeds industry safety standards and maintains a large employer Certificate of Recognition from WorkSafeBC.
Extensive Training
Frost Group ensures that all employees retain their necessary training certifications and provide specialized training opportunities that are unique to each project.
Our comprehensive safety program includes a GPS monitored journey management program, daily safety meetings, field level hazard assessments, and worker competency verification. Our company uses a digital tracking system to ensure that all workers have valid certifications as required by each project.
Safety Personal
Frost Group employs a Swiftwater Rescue team, Mine Rescue team, Occupational First Aid level 3 attendants and maintains three Emergency Transport Vehicles in our operations. Dedicated
safety resources, including onsite safety officers, are assigned to each project.
Our Team
Scott Kirschke
President and CEOScott Kirschke is the sole owner of Frost Lake Logging Ltd. and Cobalt Resources Ltd, founded the Frost Group, and acts as the CEO of all companies in the Frost Group.
Terry O’Neill
Senior Project ManagerTerry is the primary project manager for all construction related activities at Frost Group. Terry has managed large projects with Coastal Gas Link, Shas Resources, Site C, Altagas, and others. Terry has also created most of the RFQ and bid packages for Civil and ROW clearing for Halfway River Frost LP. Terry has been the manager on various construction jobs for over 40 years.
Aaron Sarrazin
Safety and Operations ManagerAaron comes to the Frost Group from the Coastal GasLink project. Aaron is well versed as a former safety consultant and executive. Aaron brings with him a great deal of experience, knowledge, and contact in the industry.
Jessica Hirsch, BSc
General ManagerJessica oversees business operations and develops strategic planning to optimize productivity. She consistently improves Frost Group’s organizational effectiveness by developing processes, mentoring employees, establishing a team environment, and implementing innovative changes.
Fabio Di Antonio
Contracts ManagerFabio has over 20 years contract management experience in Engineering and Construction. He brings diversity as his experience has been on the owner, prime and contractor side of the work. He is proficient in developing client specific reporting documents from project inception to close-out tracking cost, quality and scheduling.
Tyler Ellery
Equipment ManagerTyler is Frost Group’s Master Mechanic and runs the Frost Group shop in Prince George. Tyler coordinates detailed equipment maintenance, handles purchase decisions, and liaises with numerous suppliers. Tyler has over 20 years of experience in senior operation roles.
Josh Reimer, CPA
Financial ControllerJosh Reimer is an accomplished financial officer with exceptional knowledge of accounting and practical financial, cash flow modelling, budgeting and strategic planning skills. Josh has demonstrated leadership skills and a passion for strategy.
Cliff Lowe
Construction ManagerCliff has recently managed the Little Rock Lake Lodge Camp civil construction and Huckleberry Lay-down projects on the CGL Pipeline. Cliff has 30 years of experience in civil construction, municipal and heavy civil works.
Denny Lai, RPF, EIT
Survey & Quality ControlDenny has been involved with both the engineering and civil departments, completing quality control for numerous civil projects. Denny is completing his P.Eng. designation.
George Hemeon
First Nations LiaisonGeorge plays a critical role in our First Nation partnerships. George helps build capacity and maintain positive community development and effective relationships between industry and local communities.
